Cris Charbonneau leads communications, program strategy, and engagement for the Fidelity Scholars Program, an Invest in My Education (ME)℠ initiative that supports under-resourced students in achieving college completion and career success through scholarships, wraparound resources, financial education, and access to professional networks.
With over 20 years of experience across education, technology, and the nonprofit sector, Cris is a mission-driven leader and strategic communicator who has launched and scaled programs that improve access, persistence, and long-term outcomes for learners. She is known for building strong cross-sector partnerships, advancing equity-focused initiatives, and translating complex strategies into meaningful impact for students and institutions.
Cris is an adjunct faculty member of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Communication at NC State University. She serves as a faculty advisor to the NC State chapter of PRSSA, and as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina.
