Amanda Cauthen serves as the School Counselor at Cabarrus-Kannapolis Early College High School. With 13 years of experience in Cabarrus County Schools, she is deeply committed to supporting students and families within the community and helping them thrive both academically and personally. Ms. Cauthen earned her undergraduate degree from Lenoir Rhyne University and went on to complete her Master of Education in School Counseling at Salem College. Her educational journey provided her with a strong foundation in student development, academic advising, and social-emotional support—tools she uses daily to advocate for and empower the students she serves. Throughout her career, Ms. Cauthen has been passionate about creating a supportive and nurturing environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. She believes that strong relationships are the cornerstone of student success, and strives to build meaningful connections with students, families, and staff. Whether guiding students through academic planning, college and career exploration, or personal challenges, she is dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential.
